The company’s net profit for the quarter ended December rose 17% year-on-year to ₹856 crore, compared with ₹733 crore in the corresponding period last year. Revenue from operations increased 13.3% year-on-year to ₹18,101 crore, up from ₹15,972 crore in the year-ago quarter. In its Q3FY26 update earlier, Avenue Supermarts reported standalone revenue of ₹17,612 crore, marking a 13% year-on-year growth.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) for the quarter grew 20.2% year-on-year to ₹1,463 crore, compared with ₹1,217.5 crore in the same period last year. EBITDA margin improved to 8.1% during the quarter, as against 7.7% reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
The company also announced that Ignatius Navil Noronha's term as the MD and CEO will come to an end on Jan 31.
In the preceding quarter, the company reported a revenue growth of 15.5% year-on-year to ₹16,676.3 crore. The profit came in at ₹685 crore, up 3.9% from the year-ago period.
The shares of the Mumbai-headquartered retailer ended 0.45% in the green in the session on Friday.
