The major orders include drone detection and jamming systems, mobile communication terminals, software solutions, upgrades, spares, and related services.
"Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking, Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), has secured additional orders worth Rs.596 Crore since the last disclosure on 01 January 2026," according to a stock exchange filing.
Second Quarter Results
BEL's bottomline came in at ₹1,286 crore, which was higher than CNBC-TV18's poll estimate of ₹1,143 crore. The figure was higher by 18% from ₹1,286 crore last year.

Revenue for the quarter increased by 26% from last year to ₹5,764 crore as against ₹4,583 crore. A CNBC-TV18 poll had pegged the figure to be ₹5,359 crore.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation increased by 22% from the same quarter last year to ₹1,695.6 crore, which was higher than the CNBC-TV1 poll estimate of ₹1,482 crore.
However, EBITDA margin narrowed by nearly 90 percentage points to 29.42% from 30.30% last year. The margins figure was higher than the estimated 27.70%.
Shares of Bharat Electronics Ltd ended at ₹415.65, down by ₹0.05, or 0.01%, on the BSE.
