Auto component maker Endurance Technologies Ltd on Tuesday, December 23, disclosed that it faced a cybersecurity incident involving its IT infrastructure.
In a regulatory filing, the company said the incident was detected earlier in the day, following which immediate steps were taken to isolate the affected systems. Remediation measures have been initiated to contain and mitigate the impact.
Based on the current assessment, Endurance said there has been no material impact on its core operations or financial
position. A detailed investigation is currently underway, and the company added that any material impact, if identified, will be disclosed in due course.
Q2 results
Endurance posted a 9.5% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit for the second quarter ended September, at ₹222.2 crore, compared with ₹203 crore in the corresponding period last year.
Revenue from operations rose 22.7% year-on-year to ₹3,582 crore, driven by higher sales in both domestic and European markets.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) grew 22.5% to ₹476.4 crore from ₹388.7 crore a year ago, while operating margins remained stable at 13.3%.
Shares of Endurance Technologies Ltd ended lower on Tuesday, December 23, by 2.13% at ₹2,600.00 on the NSE.
