Design Heritage Reimagined
Mercedes-Benz has introduced its inaugural electric C-Class sedan, a model that significantly advances the brand's electric vehicle portfolio. This new
sedan is equipped with dual motors, providing all-wheel drive and delivering a combined power output of 482 horsepower with torque reaching up to 800 Nm. A standout feature is its exceptional WLTP certified range, extending to 761 kilometers on a single charge. The exterior design takes inspiration from classic Mercedes-Benz models like the W111 and W108, presenting a distinctive grille that blends retro charm with contemporary flair, a look previously showcased on the electric GLC and the Vision Iconic concept. For enhanced driving dynamics, this electric sedan offers optional predictive air suspension and rear-wheel steering, promising agility and stability.
Sophisticated Cabin Technology
The interior of the electric C-Class largely adopts features from its SUV sibling, offering a truly immersive technological experience. A highlight is the optional 39.1-inch continuous display that stretches across a significant portion of the dashboard, creating a seamless visual expanse. Higher-end trims can be equipped with the Hyperscreen, while more accessible variants feature three distinct displays housed beneath a single piece of glass. For models with the optional Superscreen, drivers will enjoy a 10.3-inch digital instrument cluster complemented by dual 14-inch touchscreens, significantly boosting connectivity and user control.
Electrifying Performance Core
Underpinning this new electric sedan is a robust lithium-ion battery pack with a usable capacity of 94.5 kWh. This substantial battery enables rapid charging capabilities, reaching speeds of up to 330 kW. The vehicle's meticulously engineered aerodynamic profile plays a crucial role in its efficiency, allowing it to travel approximately 49 kilometers further on a full charge compared to its crossover counterpart, the GLC. This focus on aerodynamic optimization directly translates into extended driving range, making it a compelling option for both daily commutes and longer journeys.
Supreme Ride Comfort
Mercedes-Benz engineers have strived to imbue the electric C-Class sedan with a driving experience akin to that of the flagship S-Class, particularly over extended distances. This is achieved through an optional adaptive air suspension system featuring predictive damping technology. This advanced system utilizes data from Google Maps and real-time cloud inputs to scan the road surface ahead. By anticipating upcoming undulations or imperfections, the suspension can proactively adjust its settings, ensuring an exceptionally smooth and comfortable ride even when navigating less-than-perfect road conditions.
