A Design Icon
The automotive world is buzzing with the recent unveiling of a spectacular new hypercar, a creation born from the collaboration between Capricorn and the legendary
Zagato design studio. Revealed at the prestigious Salon Retromobile in Paris, this mid-engine marvel is not just another supercar; it’s a statement piece. Its design language speaks volumes, drawing inspiration from the rich heritage of automotive artistry. The limited production run, with only 19 units slated for creation, ensures its exclusivity. Production is set to commence in Germany in 2026, marking a significant milestone for this unique vehicle. The price tag, a considerable €2.95 million (approximately $3.5 million USD), positions it firmly in the realm of ultra-luxury and collectible automobiles, appealing to a discerning clientele who appreciate bespoke craftsmanship and unparalleled performance.
Unleashed Power
Beneath its stunning exterior lies a powerhouse engineered for exhilaration. The heart of this hypercar is a supercharged 5.2-liter V8 engine, meticulously tuned to deliver an astonishing 900 horsepower and a formidable 1,000 Nm of torque. This immense power translates into breathtaking performance figures: a top speed of 360 km/h and an astonishing acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in under 3 seconds. Such blistering speed is made possible not only by the potent engine but also by the car's incredibly light construction. Utilizing advanced carbon fiber racing technology, the vehicle weighs in at under 1,200 kg. This dedication to weight reduction is further evident in the exquisite interior details, where even the switchgear is precision-milled from solid titanium and aluminum, showcasing an uncompromising commitment to quality and performance.
Precision Engineering
Beyond its raw power, this hypercar offers a sophisticated and adaptable driving experience. It features high-performance carbon-ceramic brakes sourced from Brembo, renowned for their superior stopping power and fade resistance, crucial for managing the immense velocities this machine is capable of. Complementing the braking system is the advanced Bilstein EVO R suspension, offering adjustable modes for Comfort, Sport, and Track. This adaptability allows drivers to tailor the car's handling characteristics to suit various driving conditions, from relaxed cruising on public roads to aggressive performance on a race circuit. The vehicle has also received homologation for road use in numerous key markets, including Europe, the UK, Japan, and Canada, broadening its appeal. Deliveries are scheduled to commence in late 2026 from Capricorn's own facilities, a move that thoughtfully pays homage to Zagato's storied legacy, which dates back to 1919, underscoring the fusion of historical reverence and future-forward automotive innovation.
