Refreshed Exterior Design
The latest iteration of this popular electric vehicle presents a subtly enhanced exterior, building upon its established design language with a more assertive
stance. Key visual updates include a body-colored grille framed by gloss black accents, complemented by tasteful silver detailing. For improved aerodynamic performance, the front bumper now incorporates functional air intakes. The vehicle maintains its characteristic strong character lines and features a silver beltline, along with chrome accents around the windows. To further personalize the look, buyers have a selection of five new alloy wheel designs, available in sizes ranging from 19 to 21 inches, allowing for a custom aesthetic to match the vehicle's updated presence.
Innovative Cabin Technology
Inside, the most significant transformation takes place, revolutionizing the driver and passenger experience with a sophisticated triple-screen arrangement. Dominating the dashboard is an expansive 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster for the driver, seamlessly connected to a 12.8-inch central touchscreen that controls infotainment and vehicle functions. Adding an extra layer of engagement is an optional 12-inch display dedicated to the front passenger. Further enhancing convenience and immersion, an augmented reality head-up display is also available. In pursuit of a cleaner, more minimalist interior, physical buttons for climate control have been eliminated, with all adjustments now managed through the intuitive touchscreen interface, offering a streamlined and modern feel.
Performance and Efficiency Gains
While the 2027 Q4 e-tron continues to utilize its reliable 59kWh and 77kWh battery configurations, it introduces notable improvements in overall efficiency and performance. The integration of a new APP350 electric motor on the rear axle significantly boosts output and contributes to approximately a 10% enhancement in energy efficiency. Rear-wheel-drive models now produce up to 286 horsepower and 545Nm of torque, boasting an impressive claimed driving range of up to 592 kilometers. All-wheel-drive variants elevate performance further, delivering up to 340 horsepower, with a maximum claimed range of up to 554 kilometers, making it a compelling option for longer journeys.
Faster Charging and Pricing
This updated electric model introduces enhanced charging capabilities, with DC fast charging now supporting speeds of up to 185kW. This advanced charging technology allows for a substantial 10-80% battery replenishment in as little as 27 minutes. For those needing a quick boost, a mere 10-minute charging session can provide an additional 185 kilometers of driving range, greatly improving convenience. The facelifted vehicle has been launched in Germany, with the SUV version starting at €47,500 (approximately ₹52.55 lakh) and the Sportback variant priced from €49,450 (around ₹54.70 lakh), positioning it competitively within the premium electric segment.
