Travis Kelce has opened up more than ever about his wedding to Taylor Swift, a private party that had the whole world swooning, which took place at New York City’s Madison Square Garden in July.
The pro athlete took
to the Sept. 2 episode of his podcast “New Heights,” which happened to be the Season 5 premiere, to share some of his feelings about the big day with his co-host and retired NFL star brother, Jason Kelce.
“It’s a night out we’ll never forget,” Travis said of the event. “Me and Taylor are so thankful for everybody that showed up, from the vows to just seeing everyone, to how much fun we had, throughout the entire evening, and hearing that be relayed through everybody’s stories of the night. And it was just so magical, man.”
Travis also discussed how grateful he was for Adam Sandler, who officiated the nuptials.
“He has been just the fucking best person on this planet,” he said. “For him to be up for getting ordained in the State of New York and marrying me and Taylor, and the way he did it, in the very Sandman style, and giving us more than what we could’ve ever imagined at that moment, knowing that it was the biggest night of our lives, it was absolutely insane.”
Travis also revealed his one regret of the evening.
“I wish it could have lasted even longer than it did,” he said. “It felt like it just happened in the blink of an eye.”
