Get ready to go back to summer camp! The new trailer for “Camp Rock 3” invites audiences back into the world of the beloved Disney franchise 18 years after the previous installment.
Premiering Aug. 13 on Disney Channel,
followed by its Disney+ debut the following day, “Camp Rock 3” marks the return of Joe Jonas as Shane Gray, Nick Jonas as Nate Gray, Kevin Jonas as Jason Gray and Maria Canals-Barrera as Connie. The plot follows the band Connect 3 as they lose their opening act for a reunion tour, leading them to return to Camp Rock years later to find the best new talent. An official synopsis teases: “As campers vie for the chance to open for their favorite band, tensions rise and friendships are tested — leading to unexpected alliances, revelations, and romances.”
New cast members include Sherry Cola, Liamani Segura, Malachi Barton, Lumi Pollack, Hudson Stone, Casey Trotter, Brooklynn Pitts and Ava Jean. The original film released back in 2008, with its sequel, “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam,” releasing in 2010. The Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato serve as executive producers on this third installment.
The film is directed by Veronica Rodriguez (“The Slumber Party”) and written by Eydie Faye (“The Slumber Party”), with Disney Kids & Family producing. Additional executive producers include Tim Federle (“High School Musical: The Musical: The Series”), Betsy Sullenger, Spencer Berman and Gary Marsh.

“Hard Knocks: Training Camp With the Seattle Seahawks” has a new trailer, bringing the Seattle Seahawks franchise to the Emmy award-winning NFL series for the first time.
Since debuting in 2001, “Hard Knocks” has documented training camps of multiple NFL teams, including the Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs, New York Jets and the Los Angeles Rams, among many others. This will be the first time the series documents the defending Super Bowl champion, focusing on the Seahawks training camp in Renton, Washington.
The episodes will include head coach Mike Macdonald, quarterback Sam Darnold, offensive player Jaxon Smith-Njigba and defensive players Devon Witherspoon and Byron Murphy II.
The show will be narrated by Liev Schrieber. It will debut Tuesday, Aug. 4 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and will be available to stream on HBO Max. Episodes will continue airing weekly on Tuesdays through Sept. 1.

CASTING
SYFY has cast Edward Akrout in “The Ark” Season 3 in a recurring guest role.
Akrout (“The Hollow Crown,” “Rodin”) will play Kurtis Drake, the leader of Ark Twenty-Two and a second generation clone of Kurtis Drake Prime.
Akrout is repped by Anthony & Associates (US) and Curtis Brown Ltd.
The third season of “The Ark” sees the Ark 1 crew after establishing their new colony, Homebase 1. Captain Sharon Garnet (Christie Burke) and her team return to space in an attempt to find other lost Earth survivors, while the rest of the team remains at the new colony. Other returning cast members are Reece Ritchie as Spencer Lane and Richard Fleeshman as James Brice.
“The Ark” is an American science fiction series created by Dean Devlin. Devlin and Jonathan Glassner are showrunners.
Season 3 of “The Ark” premieres on July 29 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on SYFY.
