Marvel Studios unveiled the second “Avengers: Doomsday” trailer on Friday during Disney’s D23 fan convention, further teasing the massive MCU team-up movie arriving in theaters Dec. 18.

Thunderbolts and more heroes are joining forces to take down Doctor Doom, the evil villain played by Robert Downey Jr. in his return to the MCU after his original Iron Man character died in “Endgame.”
The cast is a sprawling who’s who of Marvel A-listers. In addition to Downey Jr. returning, Chris Evans is back as Steve Rogers/Captain America after he traveled back in time and stepped away from his superhero duties in “Endgame.” Chris Hemsworth also reprises his role as Thor, alongside Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Letitia Wright as Black Panther, Sebastian Stan as the Winter Soldier, Tom Hiddleston as Loki and Simu Liu as Shang-Chi.
The “Fantastic Four: First Steps” stars, comprised of Pedro Pascal as Mister Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as the Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Human Torch and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as the Thing are back for “Doomsday,” as are the “Thunderbolts” cast, including Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Lewis Pullman as Sentry, Wyatt Russell as U.S. Agent and Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost.
Notably, “Doomsday” mark the official MCU debut for several of Fox’s past “X-Men” stars after Disney acquired the studio. Patrick Stewart is back as Prof. Charles Xavier, Ian McKellen is Magneto, James Marsden is Cyclops, Kelsey Grammer is Beast, Rebecca Romijn is Mystique, Alan Cumming is Nightcrawler and Channing Tatum is Gambit.
