“Off Campus” has found its Summer Di Laurentis.
Amazon Prime Video’s college soap has cast Shay Rudolph in the guest role for Season 2. The season will focus on the romance between Allie Hayes (Mika Abdalla) and Summer’s
brother, Dean Di Laurentis (Stephen Kalyn).
Rudolph’s casting was announced in a video posted to Instagram, with Rudolph and Kalyn wearing the same outfit and participating in an internet trend.
Based on the bestselling books by Elle Kennedy, “Off Campus” follows an elite ice hockey team and the women in their lives as the characters navigate love, heartbreak and the transition to adulthood.
Rudolph started her career as a musical theater actor in San Diego before landing a recurring guest star role on Fox’s “Lethal Weapon.” She went on to star in Netflix’s “The Baby-Sitters Club” reboot and was set to lead the Disney+ reboot of “Holes,” which ultimately did not move forward. Her other credits include “The Present,” “She Keeps Me Young” and the upcoming “Hot Year.”
