October 7 survivor documentary “The Bridge” is set to get a North American release coinciding with the third anniversary of the Hamas attacks.
Produced by Kevin Bright (“Friends”) and directed by Brad Allgood (“Landfill
Harmonic”), the film follows ten survivors as they travel from Israel to Los Angeles to take part in the Rock ’n’ Roll Fantasy Camp.
The seeds for the documentary were planted when Rock ’n’ Roll Fantasy Camp CEO David Fishof, who also co-produced the documentary with Rock ’N’ Heal, visited Israel in the aftermath of the October 7 attacks, which saw over 1,200 citizens murdered and a further 240 people, aged between 10 months and 85 years old, taken hostage by Palestinian terrorists.
At the funeral of one of the hostages, drummer Yotam Haim, Fishof watched Yotam’s brother Tuval Haim play a drum solo before placing a pair of sticks on his grave. It was then Fishof decided to fly a group of Israeli musicians who had survived the attacks to Los Angeles to attend his Rock ’n’ Roll Fantasy Camp, where they performed alongside mentors from legendary bands such as Guns N’ Roses, Van Halen, and Black Sabbath while beginning their journey to heal.
Fishof documented the experience, bringing in Allgood, Bright and legendary songwriter Diane Warren to help make the film.
“The Bridge” is set to roll out across select venues in North America from Oct. 5. Rock ’N’ Heal are managing distribution.

We are so excited to bring these survivors back to the U.S., Canada, and cities around the world for screenings, conversations, performances and concerts, as well as commemorations, so that even more communities can witness their strength and be part of their healing.”
Bright said: “Music has a way of reaching people that words simply cannot. I have spent my career telling stories that bring people together, and there is nothing I have been more moved by than watching these young survivors use music to process their trauma, rebuild their confidence, and reclaim their joy. This film is proof that even after the darkest moments, healing is possible.”
