Harry Styles puts his waltzing skills to the test in the video for “Coming Up Roses,” the latest single to get the music video treatment from his fourth album “Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.”
For the clip, Styles
reunites with directing duo Bradley & Pablo, who helmed the videos for “Watermelon Sugar” and “Late Night Talking.” Throughout the visuals, he waltzes with various partners before a woman does an interpretive dance to the song. In the end, they all come together for a photo finish, smiling for the camera.
Styles initially hinted at the release of the music video during the 27th of 30 shows at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Saturday night. The singer is currently on his “Together, Together” tour, which will conclude its MSG residency on October 31. He’ll wrap up this leg of the trek in Melbourne and Sydney in November and December before picking back up in Glendale, Arizona in April.
Following his Arizona shows, Styles will perform a series of shows in respective cities including Arlington, Pasadena, Toronto, Chicago, Berlin, Nanterre, Madrid, Rome and Dublin. He’ll bring this live era to a close with three shows at London’s Wembley Stadium on August 24, 27 and 28.
Variety recently broke the news that famed documentary director John Wilson has been rolling cameras on Styles at MSG since August, capturing footage for a doc expected to blend live performances with a glimpse into Styles’ world. One source described it as featuring authentic human stories of everyone involved in the tour, from the singer and his fans to the countless others behind the scenes.
Styles most recently released his fourth album “Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally” this past March. The project, led by the single “Aperture,” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 430,000 equivalent album units.
