The Tony Awards Administration Committee has announced its Nominating Committee for the 2026-27 Broadway season, with former Washington Post chief theater critic Peter Marks and playwrights José Rivera and Migdalia
Cruz among the new members.
Each Broadway season, the Nominating Committee attends all eligible productions and convenes to vote on that year’s Tony Award nominees. This year’s committee consists of 65 members who will serve staggered three-year terms.
New additions to the committee include Bonnie Becker, Keith Bunin, Bruce Coughlin, Migdalia Cruz, Scott Farthing, Wendall Harrington, Daniel K. Isaac, Mia Katigbak, Joyce Ketay, Michael Kooman, William Ivey Long, Khady Kamara Núñez, José Rivera, Linda Shelton, Rona Siddiqui, Pearl Sun, Sanaz Toossi, Allyson Tucker and Sam Willmott.

Arthur Miller’s “Death of a Salesman” won best revival of a play, while “Ragtime” won best revival of a musical. Acting honors went to John Lithgow (“Giant”), Lesley Manville (“Oedipus”), Joshua Henry (“Ragtime”), Caissie Levy (“Ragtime”), Laurie Metcalf (“Death of a Salesman”) among others.
