“The Adventures of Cliff Booth,” a sequel to Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” will debut on Imax screens this Thanksgiving.
Netflix has announced
the film will get an exclusive two-week run in Imax starting Nov. 25 before landing on the streamer on Dec. 23. “Cliff Booth,” which brings back Brad Pitt as the aging stunt-man, is taking the slot from another Netflix release, Greta Gerwig’s “Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew.” Previously set for Thanksgiving 2026, “Narnia” has been delayed to 2027.
David Fincher is directing the film, which will be written by Tarantino. Plot details have been kept under wraps, though the logline teases the story takes place in 1977 — “and it’s a very different Hollywood.” Pitt will star alongside Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Peter Weller, Matt Groove, JB Tadena, Corey Fogelmanis and Karren Karagulian.
