Automotive enthusiast-centric interactive streaming platform Driven has unveiled its initial original programming slate beginning with “Art of Speed” starring renowned engine builder Tom Nelson.
First announced last
December , Driven comes from car-enthusiast co-founders including longtime producer Michael George, “Top Gear USA” host Tanner Foust and “Gran Turismo” actor Emelia Hartford.
Additional original series include programs starring automotive talent like Hartford (“Gran Turismo”), Foust (“Top Gear USA”), Ben Collins (“Top Gear”), Ant Anstead (“Wheeler Dealers”), Jenson Button (Formula 1 World Champion), Tom Nelson (renowned car builder), Antron Brown (award-winning drag racer) and more.
Per Driven, this starting lineup will “anchor a library of content from established and emerging creators, and complement conversations in dedicated communities where enthusiasts can connect, discuss their interests, share projects, and exchange knowledge.”
Driven unveiled its original series lineup ahead of its upfront presentation to advertisers, which is scheduled for Nov. 3 at SEMA in Las Vegas. According to the company, the platform’s initial beta program has brought in more than 15,000 users over the last few months and “helped shape the platform’s technology, features and community experience, with members continuing to influence its development.”
The ad-supported, subscription-free platform is available on iOS, Android, web, Apple TV, Google TV, and Amazon Fire TV, with additional connected-TV platforms planned.
“We built Driven to bring premium storytelling and authentic car culture together,” Driven CEO Michael George said. “Enthusiasts want to go deeper into the people, the craft and what’s really at stake. These four originals deliver that – without fabricated timelines, fake ticking clocks, or manufactured drama. The ambition, setbacks, and breakthroughs are real. Driven is giving those stories a home, and look forward to sharing them with our audience.”
Additional series premiering exclusively on Driven in early 2027 will include “Pikes Peak” (starring Tanner Foust, Jenson Button and Ant Anstead), “Queen of the Mountain” (starring Emelia Hartford) and “Go or Go Home” (starring NHRA champion Antron Brown).
Descriptions for each series, provided by Driven, can be found below.
ART OF SPEED
Six 1-hour episodes. Starring Tom Nelson. Created and Directed by Michael George. Produced by Emelia Hartford. Executive Produced by Michael George, Matt Swanson and Tom Lofthouse.
The man behind the most powerful street cars on earth, and the over five years it took to build them.
Tom Nelson left street racing to build a company around what he understood better than anyone: horsepower. Nelson Racing Engines became the place you go when 1,000 horsepower is the starting point, and the cars that roll out of his Chatsworth shop have gone on to Hollywood, to magazine covers and to the kind of owners who want something nobody else has. Art of Speed was shot over five years inside that shop. Each episode follows one build from a bare block to the first time its owner turns the key, including Maximus, the twin-turbo Charger built for Furious 7, and F-Bomb, David Freiburger’s 1,500-horsepower Camaro. The engines are the easy part. The hard part is everything around them: the deadlines, the customers, the physics, and a builder who has never once accepted the number on the dyno as the final answer. It ends in Iceland, with a machine on roads it was never meant for.
PIKES PEAK
Three 1-hour episodes. Starring Tanner Foust, Ant Anstead and Jenson Button. Directed by Tom Lofthouse and Dan Hack. Produced by Jake Cardew and Ed Sanders. Executive Produced by Michael George and Tom Lofthouse.
One hundred days to build a car. One mountain to prove it.
A customer handed Radford Motors a million dollars and told them to build whatever they wanted. Ant Anstead decided to race it up America’s deadliest road before delivering it. One hundred days on the clock, a company that had never raced anything, and a car nobody had driven in anger. Ant and Jenson Button put Radford’s name on it. Joe Scarbo and Martin Jung built it. Tanner Foust, who has raced almost everything with wheels, agreed to take it up 12.42 miles of mountain with no barriers where it matters, in a car that was still being finished the week it shipped. No insurance if it crashes. No second attempt if it fails. Pikes Peak: A Race to the Clouds follows the whole thing, from a bare chassis in a California shop to practice mornings above the treeline, through the breakages, the all-nighters and the clashes, to a result nobody saw coming: Radford’s first race ever, and a win.
QUEEN OF THE MOUNTAIN
One 90-minute documentary. Starring DRIVEN co-founder Emelia Hartford. Featuring Jeff Zwart, Tanner Foust, Betim Berisha, and Robin Shute. Executive Produced by Michael George and Tom Lofthouse.
12.42 miles. 156 corners. One run. The mountain decides.
A year ago Pikes Peak sent DRIVEN co-founder Emelia Hartford home before the summit. So she built a car to go back: a brand new Corvette ZR1, 1,064 horsepower to the rear wheels, a cage she welded herself, and a crew she moved to Colorado for a month. Race week nearly broke the program. Her carbon wheels were banned mid-week, the car failed tech, and two days out she was tearing it apart to re-weld the cage while the coolant boiled over. Then the green flag. Ten minutes and eleven seconds later, she was the fastest woman ever up Pikes Peak, in the fastest rear-wheel-drive production car the mountain has seen, on her first run to the top in the race’s 104th year. Queen of the Mountain tells the story behind that time, featuring Jeff Zwart, the champion who coached her corner by corner, Tanner Foust, Betim Berisha, and Robin Shute, the veterans who know what fast really costs up there, and the question none of them can quite answer: why this road, at this price, every June. Emelia’s answer is already in. Just wait till next year.
GO OR GO HOME
Three 30-minute episodes. Starring Antron Brown. Directed by Ben Carter. Produced by Lisa Hughes Kennedy. Executive Produced by Michael George and Tom Lofthouse.
A season inside NHRA drag racing, where runs last under four seconds and every driver says goodbye to their family before strapping in.
Top Fuel dragsters are the fastest accelerating machines on earth. Go or Go Home spends a season with the people who drive them and the people who pay for them: four-time champion Steve Torrence, who nearly died twice before he ever sat in a race car. Antron Brown, racing toward the win most drivers want, at Indy. And the young drivers and family-run teams trying to stay on the track against billionaire budgets. Shot across Bristol, Sonoma, Charlotte and the U.S. Nationals at Indianapolis, with full access to the pits and the homes behind them. The results are in there. What stays with you is the rest of it: fathers and sons, the money it takes, the fear nobody talks about, and the hour between rounds when a crew tears an engine down to nothing and rebuilds it.
