Katseye has postponed two shows on their current “Wildworld” tour due to member Megan Skiendiel’s illness.
The group has postponed tonight’s show at Chicago’s United Center, as well as their performance at Minneapolis’
Target Center this Saturday. The news was announced via the respective venues’ social media pages; the group and its individual members have yet to address the postponements.
“We’re sorry to share that tonight’s Katseye show at the United Center has been postponed due to Megan’s illness,” reads the Chicago venue’s post. “Please do not travel to the venue, as doors will not open for tonight’s show. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.” Target Center, meanwhile, wrote a similar message that encouraged fans to hold on to their tickets, which will be valid for the new date to be announced soon.
The postponements come just days after Katseye did the same with their show at Detroit’s Little Caesars Arena on Monday, just before it was slated to start. “Unfortunately, Megan is unwell and unable to perform tonight,” read the venue’s Instagram post. “We want to make sure she has the time she needs to rest and recover.”
Katseye has been touring as a quartet consisting of Lara Raj, Daniel Avanzini, Yoonchae Jeung and Skiendiel after Sophia Laforteza announced in August that she would be taking a step back from promotional activities to prioritize her mental health and wellness. Laforteza recently shared that she will be returning to Katseye in January 2027, stating that she “can’t wait to share the stage again with my sisters.”
Earlier this year, fellow member Manon Bannerman also announced that she would be taking a temporary hiatus to “focus on her health and wellbeing.”
