First Artists Management, the Los Angeles-based talent agency specializing in composers and music supervisors, is rebranding and changing its name to FAM agency.
The agency has also hired former Kraft-Engel Management
agent, Dan North. Moving with North to FAM are composers and music supervisors, including: Gabriel Mann (“Emily in Paris”), Marcus Norris (“Lady in the Lake”), Tim Williams (“Pearl”), Jonathan Sanford (“The Good Daughter”), Andrew Kotatko (“The Power of the Dog”) and Daniel Rossen (“Past Lives”).
In tandem with the rebrand and North’s arrival, FAM has continued to expand, curating its global roster by signing iconic Scottish post-rock band Mogwai (ZeroZeroZero), Andrew Bird (Emmy-nominated for “The Pitt”), BAFTA nominated Matthew Herbert (“A Fantastic Woman”), music supervisor Jemma Burns (“The Drama”), Sofia degli Alessandri aka Drum & Lace (“Red White & Royal Wedding”), Tune-Yards (“I Love Boosters”) and The Rescues (The Tony-nominated band behind the Broadway musical “The Lost Boys”).
In addition to North’s hiring, FAM has made two further business hires. Alexander Beltran joins the Los Angeles office from Warner Bros. as Head of Business Affairs, while Julie Blake joins the London office from Erased Tapes as Business Affairs Manager, reinforcing the company’s capabilities across its key international markets.
Founded in 2003, the agency’s rebrand follows a period of immense creative momentum for its existing client base across major film, television, and streaming projects which include: Antonio Sanchez (Emmy-nominated for “The Studio”), Dan Deacon (“Task”), Stephen McKeon (Lee Cronin’s “The Mummy”), Nathan Micay (“Margo’s Got Money Troubles”), Hannah Peel (“Midwinter Break”), Haim Mazar (“Scary Movie 6”), Blanck Mass (“Crime 101”), Aaron May & David Ridley (“Adolescence”), Clinton Shorter (“The Rip”), Gavin Brivik (Emmy-nominated for “The Pitt”), Lorena Perez Batista (Emmy-winner for “The Studio”), and Fatima Al Qadiri (“The Stranger”).
