NEW RELEASES
Netflix-owned Next Games released “Netflix Minigolf,” available July 28.
A little bit mini golf, a little bit pinball and a little bit “Mario Kart,” Netflix’s new party game allows up to four players to shoot their best shot from their living room.
The game features over 60 levels featuring Netflix top titles like “Bridgerton,” “Squid Game” and “Stranger Things.” Courses and avatars from “KPop Demon Hunters” launch later this year.
Players putt their way through the courses and collect “Pranks,” which can be used to sabotage other players. And in the spirit of the game’s anarchy, the lowest score doesn’t always win.
The game is accessible via the Netflix platform on compatible TVs. Players use their phones as controllers, connected to the game via a QR code.

Daybreak Games and Game Jawn announced the release of “EverQuest Legends,” a solo-friendly version of the 1999 MMORPG “EverQuest.”
Available for PC, the game includes nostalgic elements from the 1999 original — such as the playable races of Iskar, Frogloks and Kerran with the original zones and spell effects — while incorporating new features and modern gameplay systems. Players can explore Norrath solo, in groups of four or in raids of up to eight players while selecting up to three different active classes per character.
The live service game features the continents of Antonica, Faydwer and Odus, with increasing difficulty as players level up. Featuring a monthly subscription model, “EverQuest Legends” will receive regular updates, including the arrivals of Deity Achievements, the Rurjarkian Hills Open World Zone and the Nektropos Castle Mini-Expansion in upcoming months.
“EverQuest Legends” was developed in collaboration with Game Jawn and is available on the “EverQuest Legends” website.
