Parker Crims, a middle hitter for Shepard, led her team to a victory against Stagg during a senior night volleyball match. Despite initial struggles in the first game, Crims managed to turn her performance
around, finishing with 17 kills, 16 of which came in the final two games. The match ended with Shepard winning 22-25, 25-19, 25-20. Crims was supported by her teammates Olivia Wal and Jenna Powers, who contributed eight and six kills respectively. The victory was significant for Crims, who was playing in front of more than 40 family members, including veterans and educators, who came to support her.
