Arkansas State University's College of Agriculture, in collaboration with Riceland Foods, has launched the Riceland Scholars program. This initiative aims to provide undergraduate and graduate students with opportunities to engage in educational, real-world
challenges at a world-class facility. Students design their own projects, develop budgets, and pitch their proposals for funding, working alongside faculty mentors. The program involves teams from the College of Agriculture, Engineering and Computer Science, and the Neil Griffin College of Business, who submitted proposals addressing marketing and engineering initiatives. Riceland Foods, a major rice and soybean processor, supports the program by offering training experiences tailored to students' career paths.
