What's Happening?
The groundbreaking ceremony for a new $24 million culinary arts center in Canandaigua, New York, is set to take place. The facility will be located along the Canandaigua lakefront and will serve as the new home for Finger Lakes Community College's Culinary
Arts Program. The center will also house New York Kitchen and Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ontario County. The project is funded by the State University of New York, the Sands Family Foundation, and other partners, and is expected to be completed by late summer 2027.
