David, grandchildren Jenah Pettrone, Dillon, and Hunter (Tory) Swarthout, and great-grandson Stone Swarthout. Joan was predeceased by her husband Gordon and son Gregory. A Funeral Mass is scheduled to be held on Saturday at Holy Cross Church in Rochester, with private interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions to be made to the Hickok Center.
