The study revealed that children who increased their social media use from 30 minutes to 2.5 hours daily showed heightened inattention symptoms. The researchers noted that social media's constant distractions, such as notifications and messages, could impair children's ability to concentrate. The study did not find a similar link between ADHD symptoms and other screen activities like watching TV or playing video games.
