Margaret 'Peg' McGovern, nee Tobin, a long-time resident of Villa St. Benedict in Lisle and formerly of Mount Greenwood, passed away on January 29, 2026, at the age of 87. Her passing marks the end of a life
deeply rooted in her community. Visitation services are scheduled for February 2, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Naperville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on February 3, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Monastery Chapel in Lisle, followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. The community is invited to pay their respects and celebrate her life.
