What's Happening?
Lt. Gen. Gavin A. Lawrence, Deputy Commanding General of Army Materiel Command, visited the Red River Army Depot in Texas to review its Advanced Automation Manufacturing project and modernization efforts. The visit included a tour of the Combat Vehicle
Production Facility and other key maintenance areas. Red River leaders provided an overview of current and planned modernization initiatives, highlighting the depot's advanced manufacturing work and efforts to expand capabilities. The depot is also working on the Commercial Solutions Opening initiative to accelerate advanced manufacturing across the Organic Industrial Base, strengthening partnerships with industry.
