The Maritime Silk Road, China's first shipping-centered international logistics platform under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), is enhancing global trade connectivity through smart ports and intelligent
manufacturing. The platform now operates 148 sea routes, connecting 150 ports across 48 countries, with 367 members from various industries. The initiative aims to create an international cooperation network that benefits all participants, rather than serving as a one-way export channel. The 7th Silk Road Maritime International Cooperation Forum, held in Xiamen, China, focused on strengthening cooperation and fostering innovation among partners along the Maritime Silk Road. The forum attracted over 1,500 participants from more than 30 countries, including government officials, international organization representatives, and industry experts.
