General Atomics Aeronautical Systems (GA-ASI) and Calidus Aerospace have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on the production of the MQ-9B Remotely Piloted Aircraft and Gambit Collaborative Combat Aircraft in the United Arab Emirates
(UAE). The agreement, signed during the UMEX and SimTEX 2026 event, outlines plans for joint manufacturing, assembly, testing, and flight operations. This partnership marks GA-ASI's first aircraft manufacturing venture in the Middle East, aiming to meet regional and international demand. The collaboration will also involve command and control systems and battle management platforms, enhancing technological innovation and cooperation between the two companies.
