What's Happening?
Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts has launched the 10th edition of its global charity initiative, Kilo of Kindness, which aims to support local charity partners by collecting donations from guests, Heartists®, and neighbors. The initiative, running from October 13 to November 14, 2025, involves more than 70 Mövenpick hotels and resorts across nearly 30 countries. Participants are encouraged to donate items such as food, clothing, educational supplies, and other essentials. Since its inception in 2015, Kilo of Kindness has collected over 100,000 kilos of donations, supporting hundreds of NGOs and reaching communities worldwide.
Why It's Important?
The Kilo of Kindness initiative highlights the role of hospitality brands in fostering community engagement and social responsibility. By encouraging donations, Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts not only supports local charities but also strengthens community ties and promotes a culture of generosity. This initiative reflects the brand's commitment to responsible hospitality and its impact on global communities. The program's success over the past decade demonstrates the potential for businesses to drive positive social change and create lasting human connections.
What's Next?
As the initiative enters its second decade, Mövenpick plans to deepen its commitment to generosity by engaging more people and creating experiences that uplift lives both inside and beyond its hotels. The brand aims to continue celebrating acts of kindness that shape daily life and significant moments, reinforcing its mission to cultivate connection and share joy. Mövenpick's ongoing efforts will focus on expanding the reach of Kilo of Kindness and enhancing its impact on communities worldwide.
