Raising Star Africa, a non-governmental organization, organized its annual 'Sport Fest' event in Lagos, Nigeria, to mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The event, themed 'Let's Play,'
featured participation from 10 public inclusive schools and over 300 individuals, including 240 children and young persons with disabilities. The participants engaged in various sports such as football, relay races, and basketball. The event aimed to promote inclusivity and highlight the abilities of persons with disabilities. The Ooni of Ife, represented at the event, expressed support for the initiative, emphasizing the potential and abilities of individuals with disabilities. The event concluded with Independent House winning the overall competition, and special recognition was given to participants from different categories.
