What's Happening?
The remains of Pfc. Joseph Chancery, a U.S. Army Private First Class who was killed in action during the Korean War, have been discovered after 75 years. His remains are being returned to Pensacola, Florida, and will be escorted to Mobile, Alabama, with
a military escort. A Purple Heart Salute is planned in his honor, with the Mobile Bay Veterans Commission hosting an event to recognize Chancery and other Purple Heart recipients.
