What's Happening?
Cascade Copper has completed an initial compilation program of historical exploration and mining data for its Bendor gold-tungsten project in British Columbia, Canada. The project, located near Talisker Resources' Bralorne mine and Endurance Gold's Reliance
project, has revealed substantial mineralization. Assays from underground workings at the Bristol area recorded up to 30.86 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 6.5% tungsten trioxide. Cascade Copper plans to conduct a three-dimensional magnetic inversion of recent survey data to support future exploration and drill targeting.
Why It's Important?
The discovery of significant gold values at the Bendor project highlights the potential for further mineral exploration and development in British Columbia. This could lead to increased investment in the region's mining sector, boosting local economies and creating job opportunities. For Cascade Copper, the findings provide a foundation for expanding their exploration efforts, potentially leading to new discoveries and increased resource estimates. The project also underscores the importance of historical data in guiding modern exploration strategies.
What's Next?
Cascade Copper plans to integrate the results of the magnetic inversion into a comprehensive geological model, which will support future exploration and drill targeting. The company expects to submit a permit application for diamond drilling and geophysics within the next month, with targeted drilling anticipated in 2026. These steps are crucial for advancing the project and potentially expanding the mineralized gold system at Bendor.
