TempTraq® patches, a non-invasive wireless thermometer, have been evaluated for accuracy and tolerability in children. The study compared TempTraq® readings to tympanic thermometer readings in hospital
inpatients aged 1 to 17 years. Out of 100 participants, 74 were analyzed, showing significant agreement between the two methods. TempTraq® identified febrile events on average 95 minutes earlier than intermittent monitoring, with high satisfaction ratings from patients and guardians.
