The Asian Hall of Fame (AHOF) is set to host its annual 'Power of Portland' event at the Waverley Country Club on September 25, 2026. The event aims to convene leaders and partners from business, public service, and philanthropy to support Women In Tech,
Entertainment & Sports Scholarships. KOIN 6 Anchor Elizabeth Dinh will serve as the Master of Ceremonies. The fundraising efforts will empower qualified female applicants from 32 states and Puerto Rico, with 100 National Scholarship Awards designed to help recipients stay in school and pursue their goals. Sport Oregon CEO Jim Etzel will receive the Founders Award as an inaugural National Scholarship Committee Member. The event will also feature opening remarks by Representative Daniel Nguyen and a distinguished speaker, Richelle Luther, EVP, Chief Administrative Officer, and General Counsel for Columbia Sportswear.
