The Council of Fashion Designers of America Foundation (CFDAF) and the Bezos Earth Fund have announced a $6.25 million partnership to promote sustainable fashion innovation and education. The initiative,
named 'The Next Thread,' will support designers, students, and creative projects focused on circularity and low-impact production. Emerging designers can receive grants ranging from $50,000 to $500,000, while student scholarships will range from $25,000 to $75,000. The collaboration aims to advance sustainability in fashion through exhibitions and digital storytelling programs, highlighting the commercial potential of responsible fashion.
