Mosquito batches in Hampton and Derry, New Hampshire, have tested positive for the Jamestown Canyon Virus. This virus can be transmitted to humans and may cause serious neurological issues, such as meningitis. Other communities, including Exeter, Fremont,
Kingston, and Salem, have also reported positive mosquito batches. Despite these findings, there have been no reported human or animal cases of the virus this year.
