years, examining the impact of sleep duration on LTCI certification. The study found that long sleep durations (9 hours or more) were consistently linked to a higher risk of LTCI certification, while short sleep durations showed an elevated risk in partially adjusted models. The findings suggest that sleep patterns are modifiable risk factors for functional decline and long-term care needs in older adults.
