Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) in Ludhiana has secured the top position among state agricultural universities in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) for 2025. This marks the third consecutive year PAU has achieved this distinction. The rankings, announced by the Ministry of Education in New Delhi, also placed PAU third nationally in agriculture and allied sectors, following the Indian Agricultural Research Institute and the National Dairy Research Institute. A special ceremony was held at the Dr Manmohan Singh Auditorium to celebrate this achievement, with Vice-Chancellor Dr Satbir Singh Gosal emphasizing the dedication and teamwork required to maintain such high standards.
