Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) is in discussions with Thai telecommunications company True Corp and AIoT integration firm T3 Technology to develop AI-powered smart-home solutions for Vietnam. The collaboration aims to leverage True's 'TrueX' smart-home ecosystem, which includes AI speakers, routers, and OTT platforms, to create a localized smart-home ecosystem for the Vietnamese market. The demand for smart-home applications in Vietnam has been increasing, driven by widespread broadband connectivity, with fibre penetration reaching 85.3% of households by mid-2025.
