Radio presenters from BBC Radio Sussex, BBC Radio Surrey, and BBC Radio Kent are participating in a three-legged challenge to raise funds for BBC Children in Need. The teams, joined by Olympic race walker
Tom Bosworth and Pete Witcomb from Brighton and Hove Athletics Club, aim to walk a total of 25 miles per pair. The challenge involves walking along various paths in Kent, Surrey, and Sussex, with the Kent team resuming their walk along the Thanet coastal path and the Sussex and Surrey team continuing their trek from Shoreham-by-Sea to Brighton Palace Pier. The initiative is part of the charity's Thousand Mile Challenge, which includes participants from radio stations across the UK.
