Falcon Executive Aviation has announced plans to construct a VIP terminal at Ras Al Khaimah International Airport in the UAE. The project was unveiled during a signing ceremony attended by Sheikh Salem bin Sultan bin Saqr Al Qasimi, chairman of Ras Al Khaimah’s
Civil Aviation Department and RAK International Airport. The facility will include a 1,500 m2 terminal, an 8,000 m2 hangar, and a 9,000 m2 apron and aircraft parking area. It will feature a Royal lounge, four VVIP lounges, and premium hospitality areas. Falcon, owned by Alex Group Investment, will oversee the construction and operation of the terminal. The design aims for LEED Gold certification, incorporating solar power to offset 35% of energy consumption, fully-electric ground support equipment, and sustainable aviation fuel usage.
