Funeral services were held on Friday for Metropolitan Police Department officer Austin Abdelnabi, who was killed in the line of duty on August 4. The 30-year-old officer was honored by hundreds of law enforcement personnel and members of the public at
Central Church in Henderson. Before joining Metro in 2023, Abdelnabi, a native of Greenville, South Carolina, served in the Marine Corps and graduated from Clemson University.
