The Daily Nebraskan, the student newspaper of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL), is celebrating its 125th anniversary this weekend. Generations of former staffers are expected to return to Lincoln for the commemoration. The newspaper has a long

Currently, editor-in-chief Nina Kudlacz leads a team of approximately 90 staffers, operating from the basement of the Nebraska Union. Kudlacz, a senior journalism and advertising and public relations double major, emphasizes the paper's commitment to delivering unbiased information in a timely manner, adapting traditional journalism skills for a digital age. Assistant sports editor Eli Rodriguez, a junior broadcasting and sports media and communications double major, highlighted how his experience at the DN, covering various sports, helped him secure an internship.
