Hyundai Motor Group has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Singapore's Home Team Science and Technology Agency (HTX) to co-develop next-generation mobility, robotics, and hydrogen solutions for
public safety applications. The agreement, signed at the 2025 APEC CEO Summit Korea, aims to create modular electric public-safety vehicles and explore the deployment of advanced automation and clean-energy systems across Singapore's Home Team agencies. The collaboration will include a technology demonstration in Singapore by 2028 using a multi-purpose mobility platform based on the Kia PBV architecture. This initiative aligns with Singapore's Green Plan 2030, which targets all vehicles to use cleaner energy by 2040.
