The West Virginia University Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute (RNI) and Cognito Therapeutics have announced the launch of the first Brain Health Collaboratory. This initiative aims to accelerate the discovery,
validation, and delivery of non-drug neurotherapies by integrating clinical care, AI-powered research, and continuous data generation into a single healthcare ecosystem. The Collaboratory will focus on transforming the study and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases, cognitive decline, and brain injuries. At the core of this initiative is Cognito's investigational device, Spectris™, designed for at-home use to preserve brain structure and function in conditions such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's disease, and multiple sclerosis. The Collaboratory will support research and development from pre-clinical to clinical trials, health economics, outcomes research, and commercialization planning.
