What's Happening?
The European Space Agency (ESA) has selected Aalyria to construct a network-operations center aimed at facilitating reliable data sharing across the solar system. This center will utilize delay-/disruption-tolerant networking (DTN), a protocol designed
for space communication where constant connections are not feasible. Aalyria's Spacetime orchestration will enhance this protocol by directing antennas on when and where to establish links. The system will be deployed at the Goonhilly Earth Station in Cornwall, UK, which houses the first privately owned deep space antenna. This initiative is part of a broader effort to create an interoperable framework, LunaNet, in collaboration with NASA and JAXA, to support lunar missions and other space operations.
