Le Jardin Academy (LJA) in Hawaii is celebrating its 65th anniversary in 2026. Originally established as a one-room preschool in 1961, the academy has grown into a prominent institution known for its International Baccalaureate (IB) education. Over the years,
LJA has achieved significant milestones, including moving to a 24-acre campus in 1999, graduating its first class in 2006, and becoming an IB World School. The school awarded its first IB diplomas in 2013 and has recently opened an Arts & Innovation Center, integrating its Preschool program into the main campus. LJA emphasizes personalized learning, global perspectives, and authentic experiences, aiming to develop students who are academically accomplished and socially responsible.
