What's Happening?
The COVID-19 Real World Data infrastructure (CRWDi) has been established to study the impact of COVID-19 on patients with immunocompromising conditions. A significant challenge addressed by this initiative is the harmonization of SARS-CoV-2 laboratory
test results from multiple sources. The project involved standardizing data from 5.2 million patients, including nucleic acid amplification tests and serologic tests, to create a uniform scale for analysis. This effort aims to improve the understanding of the clinical relevance of real-world laboratory data, particularly in assessing the immune response in immunocompromised patients.
