Earth orbit via SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket. Originally scheduled for November 11, the launch has been postponed to November 19. This move is part of Poland's efforts to enhance its military reconnaissance capabilities in response to the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine. The Polish Ministry of National Defence has contracted for at least three satellites under the MikroSAR program, with an option for three more, totaling PLN 860 million ($237 million). Deputy National Defence Minister Cezary Tomczyk emphasized the importance of developing these capabilities, which Poland has not previously possessed.
