James G. Stack, a resident of Chicago, Illinois, passed away peacefully at the age of 87 on January 24, 2026. He is survived by his brothers Mike Stack, John Stack, and Gerry Stack, as well as numerous
nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Rose Stack. A visitation is scheduled for January 31, 2026, from 8:30 am to 9:30 am at Hallowell & James in Countryside, followed by a Mass at St. Cletus Church in LaGrange. Interment will take place at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside. The family has invited those who wish to honor James's memory to send flowers.
