Denmark Receives First Patria 6x6 Armoured Personnel Carriers

Denmark has received its first two Patria 6x6 armoured personnel carriers (APCs) on Bornholm, marking the beginning of a larger procurement plan. The Danish Ministry of Defence announced that these vehicles will be used to train mechanics and specialists in preparation for the delivery of the remaining 127 APCs starting in 2026. Denmark joined the Finnish-led Common Armoured Vehicle System (CAVS) programme, procuring Patria 6x6 vehicles worth DKK1.9 billion.
